By day I'm a DevOps Engineer with Amazon Web Services doing infrastructure technology development with Python, Ruby, and anything else I can get my hands on. It's an amazing place to work and I'm deliriously happy there :)

I first fell in love with UNIX in the late 80s when I got a guest account on the GNU project's workstation cluster. It's been both my bread and butter and my favorite place to work and play ever since.

I'm new to the Elementary community, drawn here by the focus on accessibility and human interface design. Being partially blind and fine & gross motor impaired gives me a keen appreciate for finely crafted tools, and Elementary is as finely crafted an environment as I've seen in my 30+ years in computing.
