Install Wine on elementary OS Juno

Must it necessarily be from the terminal? you can use appcenter and install from there wine. I would also recommend using playonlinux, so you can even manage the different versions of wine.

Tried and installed Bottles app (flatpak) and this seem to work straight away, with no problems at all! Another very useful solution - get it from AppCenter.

Resolution problem after exiting from a game (Wine)

The easiest way to fix this is: ALT+F2 - switchboard Open "Displays". Set your normal screen resolution. I am not aware of any way to have this fix itself automatically.
