Found almost complete work-around is to install evolution through apt-get instead of flatpak -- I can add my accounts through that and it shows up in mail. If you do it through the flatpak evolution, this does not work. Also, unified inbox still fails -- for example, my office365 inbox account is not included in the unified inbox.

Thanks the cmd command ran, but on reboot no option to boot into elementary os. I couldn't find a disk utility on my elementary USB disk. I reinstalled elementary again, but over Windows so I have buggered up. Does updating windows often corrupt elementary? Should I have dedicated computers rather than dual boot?

This issue was mentioned on Github and an update from elementary has been pushed out to resolve this issue. Update your system through AppCenter and the issue should be resolved!
