Elementary won't resume after sleep
I succeed solving this issue by luis_nando's answer. What I did step-by-step:
Install netext73
$ apt-add-repository ppa:netext/netext73 && apt-get update && apt-get install netext73

What value should lightdm have in screensaver-timeout= to stop the monitor from turning off?
the Elementary OS answer to this (instead of the terminal answer) is
settings -> power -> set to never turn off monitor!
