Just ignore the message if your PC boots correctly. I also get this message on all distros. If you computer doesn't boot it is another problem. Don't down vote this because your PC doesn't boot since that is not related to this harmless message

just did a DDG search on "ACPI PCC PROBE FAILED" and found this page http://yeites.blogspot.com/2015/05/acpi-pcc-probe-failed-starting-version_29.html From this ... it appears that there could be an SCPI issue ... I dont remember how to do this on a macbook ... but try turning it off and then see if it works caveat -- apparently you cannot put to sleep ...

I got the same error on my first attempt at using elementary OS. Turned out that my install media (USB install disk) had mot been written properly. I just reinstalled the .iso file onto the same usb stick and everything worked smooth as butter.
