No such button present in Mail, but there is an option to "Always watch for new mail" in Preferences. Enabling it will display "New Email" notifications even if Mail is closed.

You'll achieve what you want by right click-ing on the attachement -> Save As...

It is quite easy: open the email you want to see the source of, and in the upper right corner click on the three vertical dots -> View Source. It will open Code with the email's source loaded.
