Laptop model is HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cw1xxx I am running elementary OS 5.1.7 Hera x86_64

  • Could you edit your question to include: (0) whether this is a new install or if you’ve used Elementary on the machine without problems previously (1) whether the black screen happens every time the computer is on battery, or only when booted while on battery. With this info it may be possible to offer some suggestions 👍🏻
