Apps coded and rendered for 64bit Linux in Xojo activate in Ubuntu, Mint, PopOS by checking the properties box that allows execution. Then making a .desktop file and transferring to the /.local directory adds the app to the apps launcher or to 'favorites.' Unfortunately, this doesn't work with Elementary, whose distribution I would prefer to use. I've tried making Debian installers, but have had no luck with them. Is there a solution I'm missing?
