I used to dual-boot ubuntu and windows 10 in summer 2019, it worked just fine. Several months later installed ubuntu again because I formatted the partitions ubuntu was on and it would frequently hard restart. Now I installed elementary OS and it has the same thing. This happens both in live usb and the actual os. This problem does NOT happen with Windows 10. I checked the system logs and there were no signs of any issue I could see. The way I installed the os is I freed up some space from windows and only created a / partition. Is there something leftover from previous installation or something like that? I also checked the temperatures and they were around 35-40 °C at max. Secure boot and fast boot are disabled both in windows and the bios. I'm trying to find a solution for this for months and couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
