Sometimes, I think when I use AppCenter, my laptop randomly starts overworking itself. Upon investigation, it turns out that the log file /var/log/apt/term.log gets spammed with the lines

Use of uninitialized value $reply in scalar chomp at /usr/share/perl5/Debconf/FrontEnd/Passthrough.pm line 66, <GEN0> line 924.
Use of uninitialized value $reply in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/perl5/Debconf/FrontEnd/Passthrough.pm line 67, <GEN0> line 924.
Use of uninitialized value $reply in split at /usr/share/perl5/Debconf/FrontEnd/Passthrough.pm line 68, <GEN0> line 924.

which eventually crashes the OS due to lack of disk space. I don't presently know how to reliably reproduce.
