Trying to install EOS Hera 5.1 on an external 256GB thumb drive connected to a Mac Mini7,1 (late 2014) with a 1TB internal HD.
Etcher simply will not install anything on either the 256 GB thumb drive or on an 8GB thumb drive.
So, I burned the .iso to a DVD.
Followed all of the steps selecting the "windows" DVD option when so requested during "bootup" (attempt).
Absolutely nothing happens. I never seen any further activity by the computer.
Any ideas, I'd really like to try Elementary but thus far that doesn't seem likely.
