I’m messing around with setting up an old Mac Mini to mess with some projects like setting up a home VPN and using it as a free web server to mess around with my website development projects. I set up disk encryption, but now I’m realizing that if I ever need to reboot while not home, I won’t be able to enter the encryption password. Is there any way I can enter this remotely, or set up a USB drive with a script to enter it automatically?

Is it worth the trouble, or should I just reinstall without disk encryption?
