I'm facing an annoying problem, after several hours after reboot, the mouse pointer starts to lag apparently for no reason.

I tought it was a graphic driver problem, so I switched to nomodeset drivers and rebooted. Everything was ok, but after 8 hours, the lagging started again.

It seems like something gets broken at a certain point and the only way to solve the problem is to reboot.

What can I use to find the source of this problem? In the logs there's nothing different from the usual, but related to elementary OS I see this:

Jul 16 17:27:34 XXXXXX gala.desktop[2781]: Window manager warning: Invalid WM_TRANSIENT_FOR window 0x7200005 specified for 0x7200008 (Emulator).

The time coincides with the moment when the lagging started.
