Fresh installed eos from the latest available iso. On first boot I did have audio(played a YT video and check audio hardware) but after installing updates and rebooting, no hardware audio sources are detected. Pulse Audio GUI says Dummy Output. I have not installed any other application or messed with the kernel. I just installed updates from the AppCenter and rebooted. running the command alsamixer produces an error file not found

I ran pulseaudio -vvv and the error I noticed was:

E: [pulseaudio] pid.c: Daemon already running.

E: [pulseaudio] main.c: pa_pid_file_create() failed.

I did try killing all pulseaudio instances and restarting, deleting the ~/.configs/pulse folder as well as reinstalling pulse audio and alsamixer but to no avail. Any help appreciated, thanks.
