As stated in subject,

Im encountering these two errors when attempting to download an app thats been trusted by the centre and when opening the appcenter respectively. The core issue is stating that there are no release lists. I've tried to sudo apt-get update but it returns with errors stating the addresses are 404'd. I tried this after following advice of another user who had the similar failure to update error.

Im new to elementary so maybe its something i didn't catch. Are the default repositories set for the appcenter offline?
