I have a computer with 5.1 Hera on it. When ssh'ing into it and trying to decrpyt gpg-encrypted files, the terminal command hangs, because instead of prompting for a password on the terminal, a GUI window appears for the password prompt, if I am also logged in to the desktop.
Context: I am using the pass password manager, and when doing this:
# Log in to graphical desktop …
ssh me@192.168.1.112
pass web/www.<somewebsite>.com
# terminal hangs, GUI prompt appears
How can I cause elementary to prompt on the command line when operating over ssh and only use GUI when logged in via GUI? Are there any environment variables affecting this behaviour?
