This is not related to elementary OS itself, only the Pantheon DE. I recently switched from GNOME 3 to Pantheon on my Fedora install. However, many things are not working properly, including the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Media keys, for controlling audio playback,
  • Screenshot shortcuts.

I did not have this problem on GNOME, it only started being a thing on Pantheon. I'm annoyed that I had to define a hot corner solely for screenshots, as I often accidentally fling my mouse into it. I'd like to preserve the shortcuts I'm used to (Super + Shift + S for an area screenshot, Super + Shift + W for a window screenshot), but they don't work at all on Pantheon.

How can I fix this? Is it a problem with Fedora's Pantheon packaging?
