As the title suggest i'm fairly new to Linux and i'm curious how it works with drivers.

NVIDIA Graphics worked out for me after some research, but I don't know about the rest of the machine. Coming from Windows my mindset is installing all kinds of drivers.

I'll post my hardware down below and hope someone can tell me if I'm missing drivers or that all is installed.

Go to AppCenter and check the "Installed" tab. There you'll have every driver you need to install on the Drivers section.

Linux already have most drivers inside the kernel so you get them by default. However sometimes you need to install some extra drivers.

I would do the following:

  1. Install the Ubuntu Software Manager: sudo apt install software-properties-gtk
  2. Open it: in the Applications menu, it appears as "Software & Updates" and go to the "Additional Drivers" tab.

If you have any uninstalled drivers, they should show in there. But if you see any other drivers for NVidia, don't install them since you already have your NVidia card working.
