daGo, I unfortunately do not have a copy of Freya on hand to help debug, but you might find some luck editing the /usr/share/themes/elementary/gtk-3.0/apps.css, /usr/share/themes/elementary/gtk-3.0/gtk-widgets.css (under Panel in .panel or .composited-indicator, or /usr/share/icons/elementary/index.theme file. Hopefully you find what you are looking for there. Good luck!
