I would like to replace the default terminalTerminal with the gnome-terminalgnome-terminal. Is this possible?

If I install gnome-terminalgnome-terminal via apt-getapt-get it does not show up in the applications menu and I can't find an option to replace the super+tSuper+t keyboard shortcut to open gnome-terminalgnome-terminal instead of pantheon-terminalpantheon-terminal.
